Bee colonies can be located in unusual but common places as: bird boxes, possum boxes, letter boxes, house walls, roof cavities, sheds, dog houses, shoes, cars, outdoor speakers and any other small “Bee” spaces.

The following is a list of Beekeepers who are current members of the ACT Beekeepers Association and have volunteered to provide a Bee Colony collection service to the Canberra community and surrounding region. All Beekeepers on this list are covered by their own Public Liability Insurance.

Some Beekeepers will collect for free, others may charge a small fee to cover their costs but this is considerably less than you will pay to have the swarm poisoned by a pest exterminator. Please discuss this with the Beekeeper when you call.
