Meetings for the Canberra Region Beekeepers are held on the third Wednesday of every month starting at 7.00pm at the Harmonie German Club, 49 Jerrabomberra Ave, Narrabundah ACT

Each meeting will typically have an invited speaker scheduled to present on a bee-related topic such as bee health, hive management, biosecurity, scientific research, innovation and technology and issues facing bees and beekeepers.

The meeting starts with ‘Beginners Corner’, a Q&A session which is open for all attendees to ask questions and discuss (or debate) answers to questions relating to bees and beekeeping. Following, there may be some general updates about the current state of beekeeping, weather and environment from the committee and/or knowledgable members, followed by the presentation by the invited speaker.

Potential members are most welcome to attend a meeting to understand the benefits of becoming a member of the Canberra Region Beekeepers.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive between 6.30–7pm to hire books from our ‘bee library’ and purchase club merchandise and honey from the club’s apiary (if available). Please stay at home if you are unwell, practise social distancing where relevant and be respectful of others’ opinions and input.
